Video: Learning to Change-Changing to Learn

I've been exposed to the ideas shared in this video and have a very strong emotional reaction to them.  The ideas shared include that our nation has not prioritized the public education adopting technology in order to change education.  The way that our citizens are connected outside of school is so powerful, robust and different than just ten years ago.  When you enter the classroom, most of those technological advancements are not utilized.  I get very upset, angry, confused and worried as to how we've gotten to this point. I am convinced that we've arrived here via a host of complicated factors rooted in culture, tradition and capitalism.

  1. You're speaking a lot of truth here. The reality is that we're a long ways from where we want to be.
